Mila Luengo Pavlotzky (Buenos Aires, 1987) holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat de València. She has extensive experience in film, television, and advertising, with a strong focus on production roles.

In 2024, she premiered her first feature film, L’Àvia i el Foraster, directed by Sergi Miralles, serving as screenwriter, line producer, and executive producer. The film became the most-watched Valencian-language movie on record. Her work earned her the Best Production Direction Award at the 2025 Lola Gaos Awards.

That same year, she led production on the feature film Cowgirl, produced by The Fly Hunter and directed by Cristina Fernández and Miguel Llorens, scheduled for release in 2025.

Her previous credits as Head of Production include the feature La casa by Álex Montoya; the television series Perdida (Atresmedia) and La forastera (À Punt Mèdia); and the documentary The Man Who Bottled the Sun, produced by Nakamura Films. She has also contributed to international productions such as Citadel (Amazon Prime), Exodus (Ridley Scott), and Allied (Robert Zemeckis).

As Executive Producer, she has been behind several acclaimed short films including Un domingo cualquiera and Confeti, both with successful runs at international festivals. Her short Hàbitat received multiple awards, including Best Short Film at the 2024 Berlanga Awards. In 2025, she will premiere Còlera, directed by Jose Luis Lázaro, selected for the Official Section of the Málaga Film Festival.

Sergi
Miralles

Sergi Miralles (Pego, 1985) is a director and screenwriter. L’àvia i el Foraster is his debut feature film, which won four awards at the Alicante Film Festival, including Best Film. It premiered in cinemas on September 13, 2025, becoming the most-watched Valencian-language film since records began. It is currently available on Filmin.

Previously, he directed four short films (Confeti, 2020; Un domingo cualquiera, 2017; Tagomago, 2015; and Hidrólisis, 2012), all of which received various national and international accolades.

He has also worked in television, directing series such as La Forastera and Açò és un destarifo, both for À Punt Mèdia.

As an executive producer, his credits include the short films Hàbitat (2023) and Distintos (2017), as well as the documentary L’Ovidi, el making of de la pel·lícula que mai no es va fer (2015), starring Eduard Fernández.

Earlier in his career, he worked as an assistant director in film, television, and advertising, contributing to international productions such as Exodus by Ridley Scott and Tomorrowland by Brad Bird.

He studied Audiovisual Communication at UCH CEU and completed his training with the Ibero-American Screenwriting Master's (FIA UIMP) and the Master’s in Film Directing at ESCAC.
